Like new. Rectangular shape, rigid foam covered in sturdy black cloth exterior and soft maroon velvet interior, including velvet/satin blanket. Two accessory compartments inside AND a large zippered pocket on the outside for sheet music/books. Arched top of case is for extra sturdiness. Case is zippered, snap-flapped and latched for security. Shaped inside for F-style mandolin, but may hold a smaller A-style, especially if an older model. Very good protection. About $100 new, and this is like new: $40.00. Might also trade for a good mando gig.
